Day 01
Arrival to Porto
Transfer from Porto Airport to Hotel in Porto.
The hilly city of Porto presents a mingle of styles and eras that will enchant you. Porto is renowned worldwide for its delicious fortified wine specific to the region and refers to grapes cultivated and harvested on the designated banks of the Douro River valley and then transformed into this delicious nectar at one of the area’s many Port wine estates.
Overnight in Porto.
Day 02
Transfer from Porto to Castelo Rodrigo
Morning free time to explore Porto
Transfer from Hotel in Porto to Castelo Rodrigo (2PM)

The historical village of Castelo Rodrigo, as a whole, is a genuine location full of monuments that preserve important medieval references.
Overnight in Castelo Rodrigo.
Day 03
Cycling Tour 1: Loop Castelo Rodrigo | Almeida (53 km | 33 mi)
Today you will visit another Portuguese Historical village. Just a few kilometres from Castelo Rodrigo, you will ride along the principal road to Almeida.
Located in a vast high plain overlooking the Côa River, Almeida was one of the most important strongholds in Portugal during the Modern Age.

Day 04
Cycling Tour 2: Castelo Rodrigo | Juízo (30 km | 19 mi)
Leaving Castelo Rodrigo behind, you will cycle to Aldeia do Juízo along backroads with beautiful landscapes of cultivation fields. From Marofa, you can also see the Douro river system (which also includes the Côa and Águeda rivers) to the east, in the Águeda valley. The last stop of this day is Juízo, a typical Beirã village belonging to the parish of Vale do Côa, municipality of Pinhel.

Day 05
Cycling Tour 3: Juízo | Marialva | Penedono (39 km | 24 mi)
Today’s bike ride will take you to Penedono. After 10 km you will start to see the Castle of Marialva. This village takes you to the deepest roots of the country’s history, in a scenario that reveals one of the living relics of Portuguese ancestry. Whichever way a visitor approaches the town of Penedono, be it from the north or the south, they are certain to see the approximately hexagonal, gracious and solitary profile of the castle perched on an outcrop, dominating its surrounding region.

Day 06
Cycling Tour 4: Penedono - Peso da Régua (57 km | 35.4mi) 
Today's journey is towards Peso da Régua, nestled within the breathtaking Douro Valley. Often hailed as the enchanted valley, its landscapes exude a captivating beauty and mystical allure. Prepare for a guided exploration and indulgent wine tasting experience at a charming eighteenth-century estate, steeped in history and tradition.  Legend has it that the town derives its name from the remnants of a Roman dwelling - the illustrious "Villa Reguela". Join us as we uncover the secrets of this historic town and immerse ourselves in its rich cultural heritage.

Day 07
Cycling Tour 5: Peso da Régua  Loop ( 37km | 23mi)
Explore a scenic 37km bike ride loop around Régua, tracing the picturesque Douro River. This route offers stunning views and passes by the renowned Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora dos Remédios in Lamego, before returning to the charming town of Peso da Régua.
