Explore the city of Porto and fall in love with this old rambling town
Classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, this scenic old town is full of beautiful and colourful buildings, old neighbourhoods, traditional street shops, vintage cafes, gothic and baroque churches or amazing top hill views to River Douro. Rambling to the main square Cais da Ribeira, the city reception place – Palácio da Bolsa, the centennial and inspiring bookshop Lello, Porto Cathedral or 18th century Clérigos Tower, with 76 meters high, will be on our hotspot list. However, you could not leave Porto without visiting the large romantic boulevard of Aliados, one of the most beautiful train stations in the world with its decorated interior walls with thousands of Portuguese tiles - São Bento Station. Cross the river banks with us, through the iconic, iron bridge Dom Luís. Enjoy the view. Take a nice picture of the traditional Rabelo boats lined in the river. On the other side of Douro river, we are pretty sure you’re going to enjoy the flavour of a Porto wine, in one of the many well-known Port Wine Cellars still preserving and honouring the finest tradition of aging Porto wine in old wooden barrels.

The scents of Portuguese re-invented homy food, warm people and charming villages full of great stories to be told, will connect your soul to nature in Quinta do Tedo [a bistro terrace]. But in Aveiro let your soul travel to modern times and feel a little bit bourgeois – this is the capital of Portuguese Art Nouveau. Elegant, romantic and graceful this city is full of character.
